Overview
The Solar Table project was designed, fabricated, assembled, and installed by the UCSB Engineers Without Borders local team, with a completion in summer 2025. Its purpose is to provide students the ability to enjoy a shady spot on campus while simultaneously charging their devices via solar power. The funding for the project was primarily from The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) and Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URCA) grants offered by UCSB.
I contributed significantly to the overall design, particularly the outlet assembly, in addition to coordinating with material suppliers and machinists. I also redlined the drawing packet, completed bill of materials, and contributed to the final report.
